OPEN SPACES – SPRING UPDATE

As we move into the spring months and the weather improves, officers will continue to focus their patrols on open spaces across South Leicester.

While longer daylight hours and warmer weather encourage greater use of parks, green spaces and footpaths, these locations can still become isolated at certain times of the day. Our priorities therefore remain firmly in place.

Regular patrols in open spaces help:

During these patrols, officers may also encounter vulnerable individuals, including young people missing from home, people experiencing mental health crises, or those at risk of exploitation. Being present allows officers to provide timely safeguarding and support where needed.
